The Sir Albert Sakzewski Virus Research Centre aims to:

• Conduct basic research in medical virology at the highest international standard.
• Focus on paediatric virology to make significant contributions to improvement in
  child health, particularly in Queensland.
• Create an internationally recognised centre of excellence in medical virology.
• Promote excellence in postgraduate training in virology in conjunction with the
  University of Quesland.
